Why is this version on promotion?

Unlike perfectly smooth surfaces,
the metal doors of many pinball machines
feature a slightly textured finish.
This characteristic limits the natural adhesion
of self-adhesive plexiglass on certain models.

Even though the visual result remains very high quality,
the hold may vary depending on the door used,
ambient temperature
or installation conditions.
This is why we later developed a magnetic version
offering better adhesion and easier installation.

This older self-adhesive plexiglass version
still remains an excellent solution
for users wishing to enjoy a premium appearance at a lower price,
provided that additional adhesive reinforcement is used if necessary.

Installation tips

Before installation,
we recommend carefully cleaning the metal door
to remove dust, greasy marks and residue.
This step improves adhesion.

Then position the plate dry
to verify alignment,
before progressively applying the self-adhesive plexiglass
from the center toward the edges.
Take your time to gently smooth the surface
in order to avoid air bubbles.

For improved long-term hold,
we strongly recommend adding double-sided tape
to certain areas of the plate,
especially on the most textured doors.

In low temperatures,
slight heating with a low-power hairdryer
may also improve the flexibility and adhesion of the material.
