This semi-rigid material provides a premium appearance while making installation easier.
It absorbs small surface imperfections more effectively
and delivers excellent visual depth.

In addition, the materials used resist micro scratches,
regular handling and standard cleaning.

Recommended installation with shooter rod removal

To achieve the cleanest possible result,
we recommend removing the shooter rod before installation.
This method allows perfectly uniform installation
with a fully integrated finish around the shooter rod shaft.

Start by opening the pinball machine door.
Then remove the lockbar,
and carefully slide the playfield glass in order to easily access
the shooter area from inside the machine.

Depending on the pinball model,
the shooter rod may be held in place by a nut, ring or fastening system.
Carefully unscrew the retaining component located behind the front panel,
then progressively remove the shooter rod shaft.
We recommend keeping the removed parts in a container
to avoid losing any components during installation.

Then carefully clean the surface before applying the plate
to remove dust, greasy marks or residue.
Position the plate dry in order to verify alignment,
then progressively remove the adhesive liner
while applying the plate from the center toward the edges.

Once the plate is correctly installed,
simply reinstall the shooter rod shaft,
then reassemble the removed parts in reverse order.
The final result provides a particularly clean and professional finish.

Alternative installation method without removing the shooter rod

For users who do not wish to remove the shooter rod,
an alternative installation method is possible.
Simply create a small discreet notch with a utility knife
on the upper part of the plate in order to allow
the shooter rod shaft to pass through.

This method makes installation easier without fully disassembling the pinball machine.
However, we recommend working slowly
with a new blade in order to obtain a clean and precise cut.

Even though this solution remains slightly less invisible
than a complete installation with shooter rod removal,
it still allows an excellent visual result to be achieved quickly.

Additional installation tips

To optimize adhesion,
we recommend working in a room with moderate temperature.
In cold temperatures,
slight heating with a low-power hair dryer
can improve the flexibility and adhesion of the self-adhesive plexiglass.
However, be careful never to overheat the material.

Also take the time to gently smooth the plate
in order to avoid air bubbles
and achieve a perfectly uniform finish.
