Installing the light-up car

Installation remains accessible to most pinball owners
and does not require any major modification to the machine.

1. Completely switch off and unplug the pinball machine before beginning any work.
2. Remove the lockdown bar, then carefully slide out the playfield glass.
3. Position the car in the intended location on the playfield.
4. Secure it using the mounting system supplied with the mod.
5. Make sure the car is perfectly stable and does not interfere with any ball path or moving component.
6. Route the wiring discreetly underneath the playfield.
7. Locate a compatible nearby GI power connection.
8. Connect the LEDs to the GI circuit using the supplied connectors.
9. Make sure the wires remain clear of all moving mechanisms.
10. Briefly switch the pinball machine back on and check that the headlights and passenger compartment lighting are working correctly.
11. Once proper operation has been confirmed, reinstall the glass and then the lockdown bar.

The installation remains reversible
and does not require any major modification to the pinball machine.
