Description

Microphone Shooter Knob for pinball – The ideal mod for music-themed machines

Turn up the volume even before launching the first ball with this Microphone Shooter Knob for pinball. Inspired by a real stage microphone, this shooter instantly transforms the front of your machine and perfectly complements pinball machines devoted to bands, singers, concerts and music legends.

Its deliberately universal design allows it to blend into many musical universes. Rock, hard rock, metal, pop or legendary concerts: the microphone remains one of the most recognizable symbols of the stage. It is therefore an excellent alternative to the original shooter without associating your machine with a single artist.

And let’s be honest: if your pinball machine spends its time playing Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Metallica or Queen at a perfectly unreasonable volume, the least you could do was give it a microphone.

Compatible with many music-themed pinball machines

Thanks to its generic design, this Microphone Shooter Knob naturally fits many machines devoted to music, bands and artists:

  • AC/DC (Stern)
  • Aerosmith (Stern)
  • Bon Jovi
  • Foo Fighters (Stern)
  • Led Zeppelin (Stern)
  • Metallica (Stern)
  • Metallica Remastered (Stern)
  • The Beatles (Stern)
  • Rush (Stern)
  • Elvis (Stern)
  • Elton John (Jersey Jack Pinball)
  • Guns N’ Roses (Data East)
  • Guns N’ Roses (Jersey Jack Pinball)
  • Queen (Pinball Brothers)
  • Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast (Stern)
  • KISS (Stern)
  • KISS (Bally)
  • Rolling Stones (Stern)
  • Rolling Stones (Bally)
  • Ted Nugent (Stern)
  • Dolly Parton (Bally)
  • Tommy the who (Data East)
  • Wizard! (Bally)
  • And more generally, any pinball machine or custom project inspired by music, rock, a band, a singer or the world of the stage.

From classic rock to metal, through pop and legendary concerts, the microphone is ultimately not very demanding when it comes to its dressing room. As long as there is music, a few decibels and ideally an audience ready to demand an encore, it should feel right at home.

A design immediately associated with the stage

The microphone’s silhouette immediately identifies the shooter’s musical universe. Its volume, relief and finish make it a genuine decorative element visible on the front of the pinball machine.

Unlike a shooter directly representing an artist, this model is deliberately versatile. It can therefore complement a Bon Jovi pinball machine just as naturally as a machine devoted to Metallica, Queen, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC or Elton John.

It adds customization consistent with the theme without overpowering the machine’s graphic identity.

Handmade to order

Each Microphone Shooter Knob for pinball is made to order, then individually prepared and painted. Particular attention is paid to volumes, contrasts and details in order to reproduce the appearance of a real stage microphone.

The manual work highlights the relief and produces a more realistic finish. Slight differences may therefore appear from one piece to another, contributing to the handmade character of each shooter.

A grip designed for playing

A shooter can be decorative, but above all it must remain pleasant to use. Its shape is therefore designed to provide a good grip and maintain a natural ball launch.

You can therefore grab the microphone, pull the shooter and attempt your best score. Throwing it into the audience at the end of the concert, however, is a technique we strongly advise against.

Detailed shooter installation

Replacing the original shooter is simple and generally takes only a few minutes. No permanent modification to the pinball machine is required.

  1. Turn off your pinball machine before any work.
  2. Open the coin door to access the inside of the cabinet.
  3. Locate the rear of the shooter rod.
  4. Hold the rod to prevent it from turning during removal.
  5. Carefully unscrew the original shooter counterclockwise.
  6. Completely remove the existing shooter.
  7. Screw your new Microphone Shooter Knob onto the original thread.
  8. Orient the microphone to obtain the desired position.
  9. Tighten firmly by hand without applying excessive force.
  10. Check that the rod slides freely and returns correctly to position.

The installation remains entirely reversible. You can therefore reinstall the original shooter at any time without altering your machine.
