Replacing the original Shooter Knob is simple
and usually requires only a few minutes.
No permanent modification to the pinball machine is necessary.
- Turn off your pinball machine before beginning.
- Open the coin door to access the inside of the cabinet.
- Locate the rear of the shooter rod.
- Hold the rod to prevent it from turning during removal.
- Carefully unscrew the original Shooter Knob by turning it counterclockwise.
- Remove the original Shooter Knob completely.
- Screw your new Purple Beholder Shooter Knob onto the original thread.
- Rotate the creature until it is positioned exactly as desired.
- Hand-tighten firmly without excessive force.
- Ensure the shooter rod moves freely before playing.
The installation remains fully reversible.
