An Interactive Configurator to Create Your Own Convolux

Our Convolux color configurator allows you to customize your order directly from the product page.

You can select every piece to create a complete kit or choose only specific playfield elements. Then, customize their colors individually to create a combination perfectly suited to your machine.

How to Use the Configurator

1. Choose your pieces: Select the Convolux elements you want to order.
2. Customize the colors: Apply one color to all selected pieces or choose a different shade for each element.
3. Design your playfield: Combine colors according to your preferences and your pinball machine’s theme.
4. Review your configuration: Check the selected pieces and the displayed price.
5. Add to cart: We will prepare only the elements included in your selection.

This allows you to create a harmonious design, experiment with contrasting colors or customize specific areas without purchasing an entire kit.

Individual Pieces or Complete Kit: Flexible Pricing

To give you even greater freedom, we now offer individual Convolux pieces for €8 each.

You can therefore order a single element, several pieces or the entire kit according to your needs.

When you select every piece included in the kit, the configurator automatically applies the complete kit’s fixed price. You benefit from the package price without having to calculate anything or visit a separate product page.

The price of the complete kit varies depending on the pinball machine model and the number of pieces included. The configurator displays the corresponding price based on your selection.

In short: you choose the pieces, you choose the colors, and the configurator takes care of the price. All that’s left is to convince your pinball machine that it absolutely needed this new wardrobe.

Translucent Elements That Capture and Diffuse Light

Convolux for pinball machines are translucent decorative elements installed underneath the original playfield plastics.

They capture and diffuse the light already present in the machine, adding more color, contrast and depth to different areas of the playfield.

Depending on the model, the pieces can enhance slingshots, inlanes, outlanes or other playfield plastics.

Furthermore, Convolux preserve your pinball machine’s original artwork. You can therefore customize its lighting atmosphere without replacing the original illustrations.

Important: Convolux do not contain LEDs. Their appearance depends on the machine’s existing lighting, its intensity and the selected colors.

Installation Adapted to Each Pinball Machine

Convolux use the original playfield plastics’ mounting points. However, installation difficulty varies depending on the machine model and the location of each piece.

Some elements can be installed in just a few minutes. Others may require temporarily removing ramps, bumper components, decorations or various playfield accessories.

Our most important advice: take several photographs at every stage of disassembly! Photograph screws, spacers, brackets and cable routing. These pictures will make reassembly considerably easier.

Step 1 – Prepare and Photograph the Playfield

1. Completely switch off your pinball machine and unplug it from the power supply.
2. Remove the lockdown bar and then the playfield glass.
3. Identify the areas corresponding to the Convolux pieces you ordered.
4. Take several overview photographs of the playfield before starting any work.
5. Prepare small bags or containers to organize screws and other hardware.

Step 2 – Remove the Necessary Components

1. Start with one area of the playfield.
2. Photograph the components before removing the first fasteners.
3. Unscrew the plastics and, if necessary, remove any ramps or accessories blocking access.
4. Take several close-up photographs at each new stage.
5. Keep screws and spacers in clearly labeled bags.
6. Carefully remove the original plastic.

A useful tip: photograph components from several angles. This is particularly helpful when several spacers of different heights look almost identical.

After all, discovering a mysterious leftover screw at the end of reassembly can quickly turn a customization session into a detective investigation.

Step 3 – Install Your Selected Convolux

1. Identify the piece corresponding to the area you have disassembled.
2. Check its color and orientation.
3. Position the Convolux underneath the original plastic.
4. Align the holes and cutouts with the existing mounting points.
5. Reinstall the necessary spacers and components.
6. Gradually tighten the screws without forcing them.
7. Check that the entire assembly remains stable and correctly aligned.

Warning: Adding a Convolux may slightly increase the thickness of the assembly. Make sure the screws still have sufficient thread engagement and that no component is subjected to excessive pressure.

Step 4 – Reassemble and Check

1. Refer to the photographs taken during disassembly.
2. Reinstall any ramps, brackets, bumpers and accessories that were removed.
3. Make sure screws, spacers and cables are returned to their original positions.
4. Check that the Convolux do not interfere with ball paths or moving mechanisms.
5. Make sure no screws have been left on the playfield.
6. Reinstall the playfield glass and lockdown bar.
7. Switch your pinball machine back on and admire your new color combination.

If you are unsure about any step, consult your machine’s technical documentation or ask someone with pinball maintenance experience. Some playfields require more patience and mechanical knowledge than others.
