Replacing the original Shooter Knob is simple
and usually takes only a few minutes.
No permanent modification to your pinball machine is required.

1. Turn off your pinball machine before beginning.
2. Open the coin door to access the inside of the cabinet.
3. Locate the rear of the shooter rod.
4. Hold the rod to prevent it from turning during removal.
5. Carefully unscrew the original Shooter Knob by turning it counterclockwise.
6. Remove the original Shooter Knob completely.
7. Thread your new Basketball Shooter Knob onto the original rod.
8. Tighten it gradually until it is securely in place.
9. Hand-tighten only, without excessive force.
10. Check that the shooter rod slides freely and returns correctly to its resting position.

The installation is fully reversible.
You can reinstall the original Shooter Knob at any time without altering your machine.
