Description

Alien Shooter Knob for Foo Fighters Pinball – Rock Meets an Extraterrestrial Invasion

Add a generous dose of science fiction to your machine with this
Alien Shooter Knob for Foo Fighters Pinball.
Featuring an impressive green alien skull,
with its enormous cranium,
metallic red eyes,
wide skeletal grin
and black headband,
this Shooter Knob fits perfectly into the completely outrageous universe of the pinball machine.

Foo Fighters doesn’t just celebrate rock:
the machine also takes us straight into a genuine extraterrestrial invasion.
This Shooter Knob directly captures that atmosphere
and transforms an ordinarily very simple part of the pinball machine
into a genuine decorative element.

And ultimately,
a green alien staring at you with huge red eyes while Foo Fighters plays at full volume…
we’ve experienced more conventional evenings.
But probably less entertaining ones.

Designed specifically for Foo Fighters Pinball

This Shooter Knob was designed to complement the
Foo Fighters pinball machine by Stern
and its universe combining music,
concerts,
science fiction
and extraterrestrial invasion.

The creature deliberately incorporates classic alien visual characteristics:
a disproportionately large head,
highly pronounced features
and a particularly expressive stare.
Its green color also creates a strong contrast with the front of the machine.

Once installed,
the Shooter Knob extends the pinball theme all the way to the cabinet
and becomes immediately visible even before the first ball is launched.

A particularly expressive 3D sculpture

The face is entirely sculpted in three dimensions.
The upper part of the skull features numerous organic raised details
that reinforce its extraterrestrial appearance.

The eye sockets are surrounded by a large black area,
while the metallic red eyes
catch the light and create different reflections depending on the viewing angle.
The white teeth provide an additional contrast with the various shades of green across the face.

Under the gameroom lighting,
the glossy surfaces,
shading
and metallic effects further enhance the sculpted volumes.

The result is discreet enough to go completely unnoticed.
No.
Obviously not.
It’s a huge green alien skull with red eyes at the end of the Shooter Knob.
And that’s precisely why we love it.

Handcrafted and made to order

Each Foo Fighters Alien Shooter Knob
is made to order and then individually hand-painted.

Several shades of green are used to highlight the raised details of the skull.
The darker areas then reinforce the recesses and contrasts,
while the eyes receive a particularly striking metallic red finish.

This handcrafted process creates a piece rich in detail
and also gives each example its own subtle characteristics.
Two aliens may therefore feature slight differences in shades or shading,
which contributes to the handcrafted nature of the product.

A decorative and functional Shooter Knob

Despite its imposing sculpture,
this mod is still designed to be used normally during gameplay.
Its shape provides a good grip
and preserves the normal operation of the original ball-launching mechanism.

You can therefore grab your alien,
pull back the Shooter Knob
and send the ball off to fight the invasion.
To save rock,
Dave Grohl will then have to count on you.
No pressure.

Detailed Shooter Knob installation

Replacing the original Shooter Knob remains simple
and generally takes only a few minutes.
No permanent modification to your pinball machine is required.

  1. Turn off your pinball machine before beginning any work.
  2. Open the coin door to access the inside of the cabinet.
  3. Locate the rear of the shooter rod.
  4. Hold the rod securely to prevent it from rotating during removal.
  5. Carefully unscrew the original Shooter Knob by turning it counterclockwise.
  6. Completely remove the existing Shooter Knob.
  7. Screw your new Foo Fighters Alien Shooter Knob onto the original thread.
  8. Orient the head so that the face is correctly positioned.
  9. Tighten firmly by hand without applying excessive force.
  10. Operate the Shooter Knob several times to make sure the rod slides freely and returns correctly to its position.

The installation remains completely reversible.
